2007 is coming to an end...
it has been a year filled with learning experience..
School
it was the usual hectic schedules and project meetings late into nights..the start of year 3 meant that i'm one step closer to stepping out into the society to work..it also meant that the modules are gonna get even tougher as i go along..if someone now ask me whether i regret joining SMU, the answer is definately a "NO"...even though it is stressful, i came to realise that the people i meet in SMU have drastically changed my life, mostly in a good way...i got more attuned to the language of business and more focused on my future goals...throughout the year, i got to know lots of people, people who came from different backgrounds (be it countries, job experiences, etc) and friends who are more than willing to help and share their knowledge with you..on top of that, i've finally set my mind to take up a 2nd major in finance..it wasnt on impulse..the thought has been lingering on my mind for quite a long period of time but back then i was still unsure of what i want..now since i am very sure where my career path is heading, i feel that having an additional major is gonna be value-adding..not sure what the future has installed for me, but i am going to push forward and reach out to my goal..
LifeFamily: Love everyone at home even though we quarrel once in awhile..greatful to them for tolerating all my nonsense..2007 also marked a new addition to the family - my youngest cousin, ryker, bringing lots of joy to everyone...both my sis are in uni now, one in NUS the other in SIM..time really flies, everyone is growing up..
Friends:
1)uni friends, whom i met up ever so often, really thanked them for accompanying me throughout the stressful days in school..they've taught me so much along the way..mugging together in the library/GSR, doing projects together till late in the night and tabao-ing lunch/dinner to eat together while rushing through our school work..school life would have been a bore w/o you all...
2)jc friends, whom have gone separate ways, really missed them..am apologetic for not being able to make it for quite a number of the gatherings u guys have organised...grzz...somehow it always clashes with my other schedules..i did mange to make it for 3 gatherings - serene's bdae, yy's bdae and the chalet...both gatherings were fun since it has been ages since i last saw them...glad to hear that everyone is doing well...
3)sec sch friends, whom have always been there for me all along...cheers to our 4yrs of friendship..meeting up with them for lunch and coffee was so much fun and anna's and lily's bdae celebrations created opportunities for us all to meet up..miss the old school days whereby we played hard and studied hard together..though during the year some misunderstandings occured, that will not spoil our friendship..not to forget fengkai, who never fails to try to organize percussion gathering..thanks so much :) even though it's just u, me and adrina, it's great fun to meet up and chat with one another...haahaa..hope the rest can try to turn up during our next gathering..
4)online friends, whom i met while playing online games...thanks for the encouragement along the way and the advices that u guys have shared with me..am happy that sy is getting married soon, ivan finished his acca and kett is doing his dip in hospitality in malaysia..
